Gander Golf Course and Driving RangeOverlooking Gander Lake is a scenic 18-hole golf course. The course offers a combination of long, flat fairways and others which are short, steep, and very deceptive. The course is fun and challenging for all caliber golfers. To practice your swing, a driving range is available on the Gander Bay Road. It is approximately 274.3m (300yd) in length in a peaceful country setting allowing you to concentrate and relax. |

The Gander Curling Club is located on Airport Boulevard and has four sheets of ice for the sports minded curler. A beautiful club, which also has a lounge and dance floor, the Gander Curling Club hosts many bonspiels which are available for participation throughout the season.

Airport Nordic Ski ClubLocated 3 km west of Gander on the TCH, the Airport Nordic Ski Club has 16 km of groomed trails suitable for all levels of skiers and snowshoers and 6 km of ungroomed snowshoe trails. Three kilometres of trails are lighted for night skiing. Skiers can purchase memberships or pay day use fees.

Located in the Arts and Culture Centre is a 25-meter long Olympic-size
indoor heated swimming pool, with viewing area.

In
addition to the ballfields located in the Field Complex, a fourth softball
diamond is located at the corner of Magee Road and Raynham Avenue. As
well, the Town of Gander has 2 soccer pitches located behind Gander Academy
with access to the field and parking area from Sullivan Avenue. These
fields are designed to facilitate a number of functions such as; local
soccer leagues, rugby, touch football, and a variety of other community
and school based activities
