The town hall allows you to:
- Pay taxes
- Apply for a building permit
- Enroll into our pre-authorized debit plan
- View property information
Taxes may be paid via debit card using the Virtual Town Hall. To pay by debit card for the first time, you must create an account.
You will need your tax account number and your customer ID, which can be found on your tax invoice. Please be advised that not all banks, nor all debit cards allow payments using Interac Online.
Taxes may be paid by credit card via Plastiq. Be advised that this third-party provider will charge a fee for this service.
To pay by credit card for the first time, you must create a personal Plastiq account using a valid email address and a password of your choice. Once you have logged into the Plastiq home page, search for Gander and select Property Tax. You will need your tax account number, found on your tax invoice.
Wondering what your property is worth? All assessment values are handled through the Municipal Assessment Agency. You can look up your property for free on the public access site, no account or additional information required.
Residents of Gander now have the ability to login and apply for a permit online via the Virtual Town Hall. PDF instructions on how to apply for a permit can be found here.
