Proposed Municipal Plan and Development Regulations Amendment
Eastgate Subdivision, Gander NL
Pursuant to Section 14 of the Urban & Rural Planning Act, notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Gander has received an application from the developer of Eastgate Subdivision, Cecon Development Corporation and is considering a Municipal Plan and Development Regulations Amendment.
It is noted that the area in question, a land parcel adjacent Briggs Street and Cooper Boulevard is currently zoned Commercial General and Open Space Conservation. It is requested that Council re-zone the area to a Residential Medium Density (RMD) land use designation.
An open house regarding this matter will be held in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall on Thursday, November 30, 2017, commencing at 2:00 p.m.
