Residents are advised that with the recent fluctuations in temperature, water is sometimes running on our streets and sidewalks, ground is softening and asphalt is breaking apart. Public Works crews are working around the clock patching pot holes, clearing ice from catch basins and thawing hydrants and storm lines, and sidewalks are being sanded daily as required. Residents who may notice a pot hole are asked to notify the Municipal Works Department by telephone at 651-5938, or online by clicking here. Drivers are asked to exercise caution when driving through areas of accumulated water because of the possibility of concealed pot holes and to avoid splashing pedestrians who may be walking nearby. If you require any more information please contact: Municipal Works and Services

The Town of Gander will not tolerate vandalism and every effort will be made to eliminate it. Information can be made anonymously to "Crime Stoppers" at: 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
