ENGINEERING CONSULTING – WATER RESERVOIR PAINTING Sealed proposals will be received by the Purchasing Agent at the Town Hall, Gander, NL, until 2 p.m. March 25, 2010, for project management and engineering consulting services relating to painting of the Town of Gander water reservoir. Terms of Reference may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Agent. Only consultants with a valid License to Practice from the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland and Labrador will be considered. The Gander Town Council does not bind itself to accept any RFP. David Clouston Sealed tenders will be received by the Purchasing Agent at the Town Hall, Gander, NL, until 2 p.m. March 19, 2010, for the supply and delivery of one zero-turn riding mower. Specifications may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Agent. The Gander Town Council does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender. David Clouston PHASE 16 - NORTHEAST LAND ASSEMBLY DEVELOPMENT PROPOSAL - 4.43 HECTARES OF LAND The Town of Gander offers for sale “as is” approximately 4.43 hectares of land located in the Northeast Land Assembly and designated as Phase 16 in the Town of Gander. The current zoning for the site is Residential High Density (RHD). Proposals, submitted in envelopes provided and clearly marked as to content and addressed to: Purchasing Department will be received at 100 Elizabeth Drive (Town Hall) up to 2 p.m. Newfoundland time Thursday, the 11th day of March, 2010. Proposal packages, setting out the conditions, will be available at the above address on Thursday, February 18, 2010, at a cost of $20.00 including HST. Security Deposit of 5% will be required with the submission of a proposal. The Town of Gander does not bind itself to accept the highest or any proposal. NOTICE TO CONSTRUCTION/CONTRACTING COMPANIES The Town of Gander wishes to advise construction/contracting companies that Council has passed a resolution which requires suppliers bidding on any tenders/quotations issued by the Town for construction/contracting related work of any kind to have a Certificate of Recognition (COR) from the Newfoundland & Labrador Construction Safety Association. This policy came into effect on July 1, 2004.
