Development Regulations Amendment No. 27, 2017
The Town Council of Gander has adopted the Gander Municipal Plan Amendment No. 21, 2017 and Development Regulations Amendment No. 27, 2017 which proposes to re-zone a land parcel adjacent Briggs Street and Cooper Boulevard. The land is currently zoned Commercial General (CG) and Open Space Conservation (OSC). It is Council’s intention to re-zone this area to a (Residential Medium Density (RMD) land use designation.
A Public Hearing to consider objections and representations on the Municipal Plan and Development Regulations amendment is scheduled for Wednesday, February 21st, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Gander Town Hall, Gander, NL.
Anyone wishing to make an objection or representation at the Public Hearing shall, before 12:00 noon on Friday, the 16th day of February, 2018, deposit with the Town Clerk of Gander, two copies of a signed written statement outlining the objection or representation. If no written objection or representation with respect to the Municipal Plan or Development Regulations are received within the time indicated, the Public Hearing may be cancelled.
