Proposed Municipal Plan and Development Regulations Amendment (2)

Pursuant to Section 14 of the Urban & Rural Planning Act, notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Gander is considering a Municipal Plan and Development Regulations
Amendment which will provide more flexibility for Council to approve multiple building developments on one lot and meet a growing need for more diverse and affordable housing.

It is Council’s intention to add a Cluster Type Development standard to the Town of Gander Development Regulations. The creation of this new standard supports the Town’s goal to
ensure the Town has residential neighbourhoods that are inclusive, and support people of different ages, abilities and incomes.

An open house regarding this matter will be held in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall on Thursday, March 30, 2023, commencing at 2:00 p.m. A public hearing, if necessary, will be
scheduled for a later date allowing the opportunity for formal representation.
