Proposed Municipal Plan and Development Regulations Amendment

Pursuant to Section 14 of the Urban & Rural Planning Act, notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Gander is considering a Municipal Plan and Development Regulations
Amendment which will see the re-zoning of five (5) parcels of land (as attached) within the Town of Gander Municipal Boundary.

The properties are currently zoned Open Space (OS), Open space Recreation (OSR) and Commercial Local (CL). It is Council’s intention to re-zone these properties to a Residential
Medium Density (RMD) land use designation, allowing for potential future residential development.

An open house regarding this proposal, for any persons wishing to gather further information, will be held in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall, 100 Elizabeth Drive, Gander, NL, on
Wednesday, March 29, 2023, commencing at 2:00 p.m. A public hearing, if necessary, will be scheduled for a later date allowing the opportunity for formal representation.
