Waste Transfer Station

The Town of Gander, in partnership with PBO Industrial Disposal Inc., operates a waste transfer station located on McCurdy Drive, next to the Public Works Depot. For a nominal fee, residents may dispose of metals, household garbage, bulk furniture, wood products, drywall and paper products. 

Click here for transfer station drop-off fees in PDF format. Residents are encouraged to use this facility for all household debris and surplus items that cannot otherwise be reused, re-purposed or recycled.

The waste transfer station will accept materials on the following dates in 2023:
