The Town of Gander invites submissions of 2-D and 3-D artwork for the 2025 Art Procurement Program.
Eligibility

Open to artists who are Gander residents as of the submission date.

Up to three (3) pieces per artist.
Categories (2-D or 3-D visual art)
Drawing/illustration, painting, printmaking, photography, textile/fibre art, mixed media, carving, sculpture, glass, and metal.
Theme & Suitability

Works should be an appropriate size and subject for display in public buildings and venues across the community.

All artworks must have Gander as a central or underlying theme (see Section 2.4 of the Policy).

Selected works will be purchased within the Town’s annual budget allocation.
Submission Form
Each submission must include the Artwork Submission Form (available here).
Intake Dates & Location
Artworks will be accepted at Town Hall during regular business hours from November 3 to November 21, 2025. Bring your artwork and submission form.
Adjudication & Residents’ Choice
All submissions will be displayed at Town Hall for:

Formal adjudication by a panel of judges, and
-
Informal public voting on Facebook for the Residents’ Choice award.
Recognition
Selected artworks will be announced by Council. All chosen pieces and artists will receive official recognition.
