    Join us for a Community Open House:
    The Town of Gander is exploring amendments to its Municipal Plan to encourage more housing development and support a range of housing options within the community.
    Your feedback is an important part of this process, and we want to hear from you!

    Location: Steele Community Centre (Sports Hall of Fame/Archives Room)
    Drop by to meet the project team, learn more about how Gander is planning for growth and housing affordability, and share your ideas about the community’s future.
  • 2026 Pre-Budget Public Consultations

    Each year, Council hosts a Pre-Budget Consultation to hear directly from residents, organizations, and community partners before finalizing the municipal budget.

    This session provides an opportunity to share funding requests, project ideas, or general input for Council’s consideration. Presenters are given 15 minutes to speak and may bring supporting materials or a slideshow.

    Those who prefer not to attend in person can still participate by submitting a written proposal through the Town’s Dropbox link, by email communications@gandercanada.com, or by dropping it off at Town Hall.

    Notice is hereby given that Council has received an application from The Foot Nurse to operate a home office for a mobile advanced foot care service from 59 Penwell Avenue. Services are to be provided off-site through home visitation. 

    It is noted that home occupation is permitted as a “discretionary use” for the zone in which this property is located.
