VARIANCE FROM REGULATIONS - 128 Byrd Avenue, Gander, NL
Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Gander has received an application to construct a fence at the above noted address to a total height of 2.2 metres.
It is noted that this property is zoned Residential Medium Density and the maximum permitted fence height in this zone is 2.0 metres. Council may vary their development standards by 10%.
Anyone wishing to make representation on this matter must do so in writing and the representation must be received by the Planning and Development Department, Town of Gander, no later than 12:00 noon, Monday, July 13, 2026.

Please be advised that there will be a water shut-off affecting 1-25 Balbo Street today June 16, from 9:45am - 3:00pm for water main repairs.

VARIANCE FROM REGULATIONS - 400 Gander Bay Road
Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Gander has received an application to construct a garage at the above noted address which will exceed the total permitted height for accessory buildings in a residential zone. The proposal is an accessory building with a total height of 6.05 metres.
It is noted that this property is situated in a Residential Rural zone which limits maximum accessory building height to 5.50 metres. The Town Council of Gander, at their discretion, may vary their regulations to a maximum of 10%.
Anyone wishing to make representation on this matter must do so in writing and the representation must be received by the Engineering Department, Town of Gander, no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday June 17, 2026.
