2026 FESTIVAL OF FLIGHT - GANDER DAY ROAD CLOSURE AND PARKING INFORMATION
The Town of Gander wishes to advise motorists that Magee Road, from Airport Boulevard to Carr Crescent, will be closed to traffic from 1:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Monday, August 3, for Gander Day celebrations.
The Cobb's Pond Rotary Park parking lot will be closed and will not be available for public parking.
Accessible parking will be available at the Battlefield Parking Lot for those displaying a valid accessible parking permit.
Seniors and individuals with mobility challenges may park at the Evangel Church parking lot on Magee Road, where a shuttle will transport passengers to and from Cobb's Pond.
Please obey all No Parking signage in the area to help ensure the safety of residents living near the park.
