Help Shape Gander's Community Safety and Well Being Plan

Earlier this year, residents shared their thoughts through the Town of Gander’s Community Safety Survey. Your feedback highlighted several areas that are important to our community, including:

• Night-time safety and enforcement
• Road and sidewalk maintenance
• Traffic speeds, especially near crosswalks and school zones
• Improved lighting in key areas
• Vacant lot maintenance
• Safe and welcoming public spaces for families
• Emergency preparedness

Now, we’re taking the next step.

The Town of Gander is inviting residents to join us for a Community Safety Planning Session. This is an opportunity to share your experiences, talk about the priorities identified through the survey, and help us explore practical ways to make Gander an even safer and more welcoming community.
