Traffic Advisory: Roundabout Construction Starts Monday, September 15 – Briggs St / Cooper Blvd Intersection

Construction of a new roundabout at the Briggs Street / Cooper Boulevard intersection begins Monday, September 15. This will be the first day traffic in the area is directly affected.

What to expect starting tomorrow:

• A bypass lane with a three-way stop on Briggs Street to help traffic flow

• Intermittent lane closures in the work zone and short delays

• A detour route via Hornell Street

• Intermittent local closures on Raynham Avenue

Construction will continue over the next several weeks, so please allow extra travel time, slow down, and follow all posted signs. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained at all times.
