It is Council’s intention to remove the current maximum height restriction of 15.0 metres
for apartment buildings in the following zones:
Residential Medium Density, Residential High Density-1, Residential High Density-2, Town Centre, Commercial General and Commercial Local.
Additionally, it is Council’s intention to remove the maximum height restriction of 15.0 metres
for non-residential buildings in the following zones:
Rural Residential, Town Centre, Commercial General, Commercial Shopping Centre, Commercial Highway, Commercial Local, Commercial Light Industrial, Industrial General and Public Institutional.
An open house regarding this matter will be held in the Council Chambers at the Town Hall,
September 24, 2024, commencing at 2:00 pm
