The Town of Gander is currently accepting applications for a permanent full time Policy and Legislative Clerk position within the Town of Gander. As a supporting team member of the Town Clerk’s office, the incumbent works closely with the departmental team to support the fulfillment of the regulatory and policy mandate of the Town of Gander.

Position Details

Open House

The Town of Gander has retained the firm Re/fact Consulting to undertake a Housing Needs Assessment Update. The Update will be used as an important foundation by the Town as it develops a comprehensive Housing Action Plan to address housing issues and guide future decisions. See the Project Backgrounder on our Build Up Gander page.

As part of this work, we are conducting a Community Open House on Housing. The purpose of this Open House is to provide preliminary findings emerging from our work to date. The Open House will also provide an opportunity for you to share your perspectives on housing needs and issues in Gander. The Community Open House is scheduled for:

Tuesday, December 12th, 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Housing Needs Assessment Survey

Under the "Build up Gander" Housing Expansion Initiative,
the Town of Gander has launched an on-line Housing Needs Assessment survey
(running through mid-January, 2024)
designed to gather information related to housing issues in the community.

Community members, stakeholders and general public / residents
interested in housing issues are invited to participate.
