    The Town of Gander is making improvements to customer service, including moving to a new and improved phone system.
     
    As part of this upgrade, some Town phone lines may be temporarily unavailable on Wednesday, January 28.
     
    If you have an urgent issue, please call our after-hours line at 709-651-2941.

    DISCRETIONARY NOTICE
    230 AIRPORT BOULEVARD (FRASER MALL), GANDER, NL

    Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Gander has received an application from the
    owners to renovate the building located at the above noted address for addition of an
    apartment building and/or hotel occupancy.


    It is noted that this property is situated in a Commercial General (CG) zone, under the Town of
    Gander Development Regulations. Apartment Building and Commercial Residential
    (hotel/motel) uses are permitted in this zone as a Discretionary Use of Council.


    Anyone wishing to make representation on this matter must do so in writing and the
    representation must be received by the Planning & Public Works Department, Town of Gander,
    no later than 12:00 noon, Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

  • Holiday Office Closure: Dec 24 - Jan 2, 2026

    The Town Hall and the administrative offices at the Steele Community Centre and Public Works Depot will close on December 24 at 12:30 p.m. and reopen on January 2, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.


    The after-hours line will be available at 709-651-2930.
