DISCRETIONARY NOTICE - 82 Rowsell Boulevard

Notice is hereby given that Council has received an application from M G Electrical to operate a home office for an electrical contracting service from 82 Rowsell Boulevard.

It is noted that home occupation is permitted as a “discretionary use” for the zone in which this property is located.

Anyone wishing to make representation on this matter must do so in writing prior to 4:00pm on August 9, 2026. Further information on this matter may be obtained by contacting the Planning and Development Department at 651-5910.

The Newfoundland Regiment will host the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League at the Steele Community Centre on Friday, August 28 at 7:00 p.m.

The matchup is part of a three-game preseason series and marks the first-ever visit by an OHL club to Newfoundland and Labrador for preseason competition.

Please be advised that the Cobb's Pond Rotary Park parking lot will be closed from 8am - 4pm tomorrow, July 21 for crosswalk painting. Residents are asked to use the ATV drop off area for parking during this time.

Waste Transfer Station - July 11th, 2026

Reminder that the Waste Transfer Station will be open tomorrow, Saturday, July 11th. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
