Please be advised that on Monday, February 23, 2026, a road closure and detour will be in effect in the Memorial Drive and Cooper Boulevard area. 

The closure will include the Memorial Drive entrance to Cooper Boulevard and the Cooper Boulevard exit to Memorial Drive. All other entrances and exits at the roundabout will remain open.

Memorial Drive up to Byrd Avenue will be open to local traffic only.

Water service will be shut off from 1B Memorial Drive to 30 Memorial Drive between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Residents and motorists are asked to use alternate routes and plan accordingly. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Water Service Interruption – Edinburgh Street (February 4, 2026)

Please be advised that there will be a water service interruption on Edinburgh Street on February 4, 2026, from 9:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This interruption is required to complete a water main repair and will affect civic addresses 3–47 Edinburgh Street.

Temporary Phone Service Interruption – January 28, 2026
 
The Town of Gander is making improvements to customer service, including moving to a new and improved phone system.
 
As part of this upgrade, some Town phone lines may be temporarily unavailable on Wednesday, January 28.
