The Town offers several payment options for your convenience.
Pre-Authorized Payment Plan
Property owners may pay their annual taxes through equal monthly withdrawals.
- Payments are withdrawn on the last day of each month, from January 31 to December 31.
- Monthly payments are based on the total current-year tax levy and any eligible outstanding current-year balance.
- A void cheque or banking information is required.
- Taxes from previous years must be paid before enrolling.

Post-Dated Cheques
Property owners may also pay through equal monthly post-dated cheques.
- Cheques should be dated for the last day of each month, from January 31 to December 31.
- Monthly payments are based on the total current-year tax levy and any eligible outstanding current-year balance.
- Cheques should be made payable to the Town of Gander.

Online Banking
Payments can be made through most financial institutions by adding the Town of Gander as a payee.
Use the tax account or roll number shown on your tax invoice as the account number. Requirements may vary by financial institution.
E-Transfer
Property tax payments may be sent by e-transfer to:

Include your roll number, tax account number or property address in the message field so the payment can be applied to the correct account.
Credit Card
Credit card payments can be made online through Plastiq, an independent third-party payment service.
To make a payment:
- Create or sign in to your Plastiq account.
- Search for Town of Gander.
- Select Property Tax.
- Enter the tax account number shown on your invoice.
Plastiq charges a service fee. This fee is collected by Plastiq and is not paid to the Town of Gander.

Payment Deadline and Interest
Property tax accounts must be paid in full or enrolled in an approved payment plan by March 31.
Interest is charged on overdue balances at a rate of 12% per year.
